Sisu Nordic Sauna was established in 2022 after re-discovering sauna as a space to navigate the stressful pandemic leading to a more resilient mindset and renewed perspective.
As a suicide survivor, her mental health is a focus and hopes to inspire others to consider sauna, a centuries old wellness practice as more than just a physical space providing physical relief, but also a safe space to let our minds rest and rediscover our inner strength.
Sisu - represents a mindset of courage and perseverance capturing the essence of what is required to pursue one’s passion and dream to start a business. We are grateful to Atacama Sauna for the support and inspired courage that led to the creation of Sisu Nordic Sauna.
Rachael has a degree in Exercise Science and brings 16+ years of experience in the wellbeing industry serving families to seniors and anyone in between. She is a National Council for Mental Well-being Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and Registered Yoga Instructor with CorePower Yoga.
Sisu Nordic Sauna is recognized through the North American Sauna Society.
